PRIVACY POLICY

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you and your player provide directly:

• Account information — the parent or adult player's name, email address, and password.
• Player profile information — first and last name, date of birth (used only to determine age division), city, county, state, gender (optional), and uniform size once purchased.
• Tournament & team information — registrations, Waitlist status, team assignments, game results, and League Points.
• Payment information — Membership and tournament entry fees are processed by Square. We receive and store the payment amount, a Square-issued payment ID, and a receipt link — we never receive or store your card number; it goes directly from your device to Square.
• Communications — messages you send to League support (e.g. by phone or email).

We also automatically receive limited technical information needed to keep you signed in and the site working — such as a session cookie — through our hosting and authentication providers.

2. How We Use Information

• Create and manage accounts, player profiles, and Memberships.
• Process tournament registration, Waitlist placement, and team building.
• Process payments and issue refunds through Square.
• Determine age-division eligibility.
• Calculate League Points and Rankings.
• Contact you about your account, a registration, a payment, or a tournament.
• Seek emergency medical assistance for a participant when a parent/guardian can't be reached, as described in the Tournament Terms & Conditions.
• Maintain the security and integrity of the platform.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use player information for third-party advertising.

3. Children's Privacy

Many of our players are under 13. We do not collect information directly from a child — a player profile is created and controlled by their parent or legal guardian, who enters the player's information themselves as part of registration. A parent or guardian can review, correct, or request deletion of their player's information at any time by contacting League support (below).

4. Photo & Video

As described in our Membership and Tournament Terms & Conditions, we may photograph or record participants at League events and use that media for League purposes (website, social media, promotional materials). You can opt out of this in writing to League support at any time.

5. Who We Share Information With

• Square — processes payments on our behalf; receives what's needed to process a charge or refund.
• Supabase — our database and authentication provider; stores account and player data on our behalf, under its own security safeguards.
• Tournament organizers & officials — see roster and registration information needed to run an event.
• Other participants — a tournament roster (first name and last initial only) is visible to other signed-in, active-Membership accounts, as part of how tournaments and Rankings work. Date of birth, address, and contact details are never shown to other participants.
• As required by law, or to protect the safety of a participant or others.

We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.

6. Data Retention

We keep account and player information for as long as the account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward for recordkeeping (e.g. past results, payment/refund history, and legal or tax requirements). You can request deletion of your account and player profiles by contacting League support; some information may be retained where we're required or permitted to keep it (for example, payment records).

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information — including encrypted connections, access controls limiting who can see account and player data, and never storing full card numbers ourselves. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Choices & Rights

• Access, correct, or request deletion of your account or player information.
• Opt out of photo/video use (see Section 4).
• Ask what information we hold about you or your player.

9. Cookies

We use a minimal set of cookies needed to keep you signed in and to remember your session — not third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continuing to use SP 3x3 League after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
